Ingredients

  • 400g beef sirloin/ flank, thinly sliced
  • 1½ tbsp Mahsuri Oyster Flavoured Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 150g mushrooms (button or shiitake)
  • 1 red capsicum, sliced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 40ml beef stock/ water (optional if sauce gets too thick)
  • 150ml Koko Cuisine Coconut Milk

Searing Ingredients

Heat oil in a wok or pan over high heat. Sear beef quickly until it turns brown and set it aside. In the same pan, sauté onions and mushrooms until it becomes fragrant. Add capsicum, and return the cooked beef into the pan.

Enhancing Flavour

Add Mahsuri Oyster Sauce first and stir ingredients to coat. Next, add Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce and mix evenly. Lower the heat and pour in Koko Cuisine Coconut Milk into the pan.

Finishing Touches

Simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the beef. If the sauce is too thick loosen it with a splash of water or stock. Finally, season with salt if needed and garnish with spring onions.
Serve with steamed white rice and a sunny side up egg for maximum satisfaction.
